Our East Dental Care Team is exceptional at communicating with children of all ages. As parents ourselves, we understand the unique needs and concerns that children have when it comes to dental visits. We do our best to encourage proper dental care and techniques in a warm, caring, and friendly environment. In doing so, we hope our younger patients have an enjoyable time at the office and are therefore eager to continue future dental visits. We are pleased to offer all children under the age of 3 a complimentary “happy visit” checkup. This gentle cleaning and checkup is an excellent way to introduce your child to our dental clinic environment and encourage and support early dental care and maintenance.

At East Dental Care, we believe it is vital for children to begin their dental experience at an early age, which is why we follow the recommendations made by the Canadian Dental Association that children have an assessment by a dentist within six months of the eruption of the first tooth, or by one year of age, whichever comes first.

Our dental team is here to provide a comfortable and nurturing environment for children that encourages and educates them about the importance of oral hygiene now and throughout their lifetime.
